For the past several weeks the buzz, no pun intended, all around Winthrop has been about ...the duck, the White Duck Brew Pub, that is.

This brand new eating & drinking experience is brought to you by Travis Mills & company, and from the looks of things on their newly launched website, and Facebook page certainly know how to make a grown man drool. With a ton of quality brews on tap, and starters like "Duck Confit Poutine", and entrees like "hand-cut chargrilled ribeye with fresh basil butter, duck fat fingerling potatoes and honey thyme carrots" the White Duck Brew Pub is a destination you NEED to put on your list of places to visit. The doors are officially open. They do ask for everyone to be patient as they work out final details and get everything up and running and work out any kinks in that process. If you do you will be richly rewarded by chef Shaun Killeen with a culinary experience seldom found in central Maine.
