Trick Or Treat – Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut At Dunkin’

It's Halloween time, you're looking for family fun things to do. You've carved your pumpkin and entered it into the B98.5 Pumpkin Carving Contest, you've picked out your costume...now what? Dunkin!

Maybe it's just me but I think Dunkin' really likes Halloween time. Not only do they have these very cool, "Halloween DIY Dunkin’ Donut Decorating Kits". Complete with donuts, and toppings in Halloween colors like orange, white, black and three sprinkle blends.

But according to a report on NBC's The Today Show, Dunkin' is introducing a deliciously daring donut that delivers the heat with every bite, the "Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut" is a classic donut, topped with strawberry icing with a bold blend of cayenne and ghost pepper, and finished with red sanding sugar for a sizzling look. Deceiving right?

It doesn't look that spicy. You can almost hear it calling you like, "Come on, bite me" ...but you better do it soon as the "Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut" will only be on the menu for a few hot minutes, thru December.

Dunkin’ is also encouraging peeps to show their own spicy side by surprising their friends with the Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut and capturing and posting the reactions on social media using #DunkinSpicySide.

I'd say with that donut you really get the trick & the treat at the same time!
