Normally, the United Way of Kennebec Valley celebrates the launch of their annual capital campaign with a breakfast at the Augusta Civic Center.  As we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, they've decided to go a different route this year.

Instead, this Wednesday (September 16th), they'll celebrate the kickoff with a FREE drive-in movie.

United Way of Kennebec Valley is hosting a FREE drive-in style showing of Disney's movie UP at the Augusta Civic Center. This fantastic event is rain or shine, and 100 proceeds will go directly back into the community, supporting 50 local non-profits.

Donation areas will be available at the entrance and throughout the event for those that would like to make donations. Each Donation will receive a complimentary snack pack, containing popcorn, candy, and drinks. Aside from the complimentary snack pack that comes with any donation, there will be Food Trucks on-site to help make your dinner plans a little easier.

They are asking that you register in advance HERE, and then you're good to go.
