Veterans Day Deals, Discounts, & Freebies Around Central Maine

Veterans day has always been very special to me with multiple friends and family members being veterans. It makes me happy to see businesses and restaurants saluting our veterans as well as active duty military for the Veterans Day Holiday.

I've been able to track down several restaurants and businesses that are offering free meals and special discounts on Veterans Day as appreciation.

Be aware that you may be required to provide some proof of military service. Typically, a military ID, VA medical cards as well as veteran organization membership cards. Some even allow a uniform to serve as proof of service.

Here are a few Veterans Day deals, discounts, and freebies around Central Maine

The following offers are available Wednesday unless otherwise noted. Most are for dine-in only and some require a mobile app.

7-Eleven: A free cup of coffee on Veterans Day if you are part of the 7Rewards loyalty program.

Applebee's: Free meal from a special menu.

Denny's: Great Deal here! Get a free Grand Slam from 5am  to noon Wednesday only.

Dunkin': Free donut - your choice!

Little Caesars: Is offering a combo lunch for free between the hours of 11am and 2pm  Wednesday only.

Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub: BOGO - Score a free meal from a special Veterans Day menu with purchase of another meal, between the hours of 11am and 5pm on Wednesday only.

Red Robin: This is an extended offer that starts Thursday 11/12  through 11/30. For any veterans or active duty military get a free tavern burger served with bottomless fries. Sign up to the Red Robin Royalty Club to cash in on this great deal.

Starbucks: Veterans and active duty members as well as their spouses can enjoy a free tall hot brewed coffee on Wednesday only.

Wendy's: Get a small breakfast combo free with military ID between 6:30am and 10:30am on Wednesday only.
