Walmart Hiring High School Students Offering College Credit
When you think about getting a job with college assistance, you usually don't think about Walmart.... Oh, how times have changed.
The nation’s largest retailer announced it is expanding its Live Better U education program to high school-aged employees. Employees will be given work schedules that are flexible to accommodate classes, up to 7 hours of free college credit, oh don't forget free ACT and SAT test prep courses, oh did I mention that once they receive their high school diploma they will be eligible for a $1 a day college education.
If you are saying to yourself whats the difference between what was offered before.... well, the education program previously was only offered to employees attending college already.
The $1-a-day degree is offered in several different areas including cyber security, computer science, business and supply chain management.
