Wedding Season Is Here – How Much Should You Spend On A Gift?

This really surprised me when I read it.  I didn't actually think there was a set 'price' on how much I should spend on a wedding gift...and my oh my, thank goodness I don't get invited to many weddings.  Because, if this is true...I'm not getting you anything!

According to cafemom.com, a very strategic algorithm was done to come up with just exactly how much one should contribute to a wedding gift.  Here's what the study showed:

• During the 2k16 wedding season, on average people spent $160 for a gift.
• Vermont ranked highest at $245 for a gift

Wow!  I love you, but I don't think we can be friends.  Please don't send me a wedding invitation if you're expecting something that extravagant.  You're getting a pat on the back and twenty bucks from me.
