What’s Happening In The Old Fastenal Location In Augusta?
It's been a few months since the Augusta Fastenal location closed its doors. Now, it looks like there is activity in that old storefront and it's left several Central Mainers curious about what's going to be going into the location.
You no longer have to wonder! We now know that it will be a new fitness center.
According to a Facebook post made by The Shop Crossfit, they officially opened yesterday - Sunday, August 8th.
The Shop CrossFit is located in the Kmart plaza in Augusta, where Fastenal was between the laundromat and the pawn shop.
Unfamiliar with Crossfit?
Crossfit is a form of high-intensity physical exercise. Often CrossFit gyms will use unconventional items for exercises, such as tires and thick ropes. CrossFit is also focused more on building healthy relationships with food and exercise and connections with peers in the community.
CrossFit is not your traditional workout, so if you're looking to step out of your traditional workout, check out The Shop CrossFit on Facebook and see what it's all about.
