WMTW-TV Channel 8 Returned To DirecTV Line-up

If you were concerned that you may never get WMTW-TV Channel 8 after an agreement between AT&T and Hearst Broadcasting had expired. Be relieved, the station is back in the line-up and a new agreement has been reached according to a press release, shared by deadline.com.

Earlier, Hearst had pulled its stations from 26 markets, including Portland/Auburn Maine which effects the line-up on AT&T-owned DirecTV . Hearst had already given four temporary extensions on their previous retransmission deal, and negotiations on the new agreement had apparently reached an impasse
