The Governor's Energy Office says that the average statewide cash price for heating oil has dropped five cents per gallon from two weeks ago and is now at $2 per gallon.

Kerosene saw a three cent per gallon drop to $2.58 per gallon, while propane rose one center to $2.19 per gallon.

State officials are saying the heating oil prices are among the lowest they have seen for this time of years in many years.
