It is hard to believe that we are just a few days away from Independence Day.  This year has really flown by, hasn’t it?  It seems like New Year's Day was just yesterday.  Now, we're already into summer.

Even though most holidays are dependent on the weather (to a point), the 4th of July is the one holiday where good weather is a necessity.

Yes, people will still celebrate if it is raining or a scorcher, but the day is way more fun when you have nice weather.

In my opinion, the perfect 4th of July forecast is partly sunny skies with temperatures in the lower-80s.

What will the weather be like for Independence Day 2024?

According to Weather.com, Central Maine will see partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s.

Southern Maine will see partly sunny skies and highs in the upper-70s.

The White Mountains of New Hampshire will see a few morning showers.  After the showers pass, it will be mostly cloudy with a high of about 85 degrees.

The coast of New Hampshire will see partly sunny skies and temperatures in the lower-80s.

The forecast for Boston is calling for a slim chance of showers, partly sunny skies, and a high temperature of about 87 degrees.

Of course, these forecasts are from June 26, so there is a good chance they could change in some places.

Since the New England weather can change dramatically in minutes, it's best to always be prepared.  Bring a jacket, umbrella, sunscreen, bug repellant, water, and snacks.
