I am excited to see the world opening back up, as a parent, I've been concerned for my children and their mental health. As Summer approached, it seemed as if kids weren't only going to be missing out on a big chunk of the 2019-2020 school year, but their Summer vacation would also be affected. Thankfully that's not the case.

July 1st starts the third and final phase of reopening here in Maine, which allows the opening of Spas, Bowling Alleys, Movie Theaters, Amusements Parks, Performing Arts, and Water Parks. These businesses will be required to follow a COVID-19 prevention checklist that was released by the Mills administration on Wednesday.

According to the Aquaboggan Waterparks Facebook page, Auqaboggan is officially opening for the 2020 Season on Wednesday, July 1st. They are asking that if you have been ill, feel ill, or have been around someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, that you stay home as a way to keep other guests safe and healthy.

If you are planning on making a visit to Aquaboggan, they are recommending that you purchase your tickets online HERE to limit contact, you will still be able to buy tickets at the entrance gate. At this time the park will be open on a first come first serve basis due to Covid-19 capacity restrictions.
