Buy The Kitchen Staff At The Quarry Tap Room A Round Of Beers

Date nights are an absolute must in my house, and recently we have been venturing away from our traditional goto chain type restaurants. Saturday night, we headed out to the Quarry Tap Room in Hallowell for what we call a late-night date night. It was our first time visiting the establishment, so we weren't quite sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised.

We were greeted by employees, and even a very special off the clock employee, who is a frequent listener of the morning show, Hi Liz! The atmosphere was one of a kind, and the restaurant was full of laugher, just a fun place to be.

After ordering our food, my husband, who had looked at the online menu before we arrived, told me that you could buy the kitchen staff a round of drinks. Yes, this is a real thing, and it's even listed right on the menu. Of course, we had to give it a go.  I mean, would we really be getting the full experience if we didn't?

We order our first round of drinks, Stephen decided on a nice beer, and I ordered my regular, a nice tall glass of Dr.Pepper. Yum! By the time we were partially through dinner, I had got "the look" from Stephen. You know the look you get when something bigs about to go down?

That is when it happened; he flagged our waiter over, and in the nicest way possible, demanded that we purchase the kitchen staff a nice round of cold ones. They, as a team, had just made some of the most delicious food we've ever eaten, and they deserved a nice treat too. Of course, we had to give it a go; it only costs $6 bucks. I mean, were we really getting the full experience if we didn't?
