Major Outage Affecting Spotify, ChatGPT, Canva, & More

If you are having issues accessing or using some of your favorite apps or websites, you are not alone.

According to Down Detector, Cloudflare is experiencing a significant outage.

Cloudflare, which started in 2009, is an internet and web services company that supports a number of popular websites and apps. These include Spotify, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Sora, and Canva.

The outage, which was first reported at about 6 AM (Eastern time), knocked hundreds of websites and services offline. Additionally, it made hundreds of others run sluggishly or inconsistently.

An early Tuesday morning post from the company explained:

Cloudflare is experiencing an internal service degradation. Some services may be intermittently impacted. We are focused on restoring service. We will update as we are able to remediate. More updates to follow shortly.

Since that post went up, they have continued to provide updates about the restoration of services.
