Destination Waterville. Why? Well, for fun and prizes! The Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce has come up with a great way to explore the city with the lure of prizes to do so.
According to the The Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce website, the scavenger hunt is already underway across downtown Waterville. The search is for these brightly colored square boxes.
Each week through August 13th the Chamber will be hiding new boxes to be found. If you find one, or more, you simply return the box to The Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce for a $25 gift certificate to one of the participating downtown businesses.
The Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce is hoping this fun scavenger hunt will help people new and old alike connect with Waterville downtown businesses who like many communities have struggled during the pandemic downturn.
