Here Is Where You Can Get FREE N95 Masks In Central Maine
It's hard to believe it's been almost two years into the COVID-19 pandemic. We have certainly seen a wealth of information come our way and also corrected and updated information. Something that has been updated fairly recently is the type of face masks we should be using to ensure the best protection from the virus.
N95 & NX95 masks have become the new standard. With many people indicating there has been price gouging around these type masks, the Federal Goverment has stepped in to provide about 400 million N95 masks. These masks are being distributed from the Strategic National Stockpile.
Maine is now beginning to receive its share of these FREE N95 masks. Adults in Maine are allowed to claim up to three masks. The child-sized masks are not available as of yet.
Currently, thee are several places in Maine that you can pick up your FREE N95 masks according to a report by the Bangor Daily News.
Walgreens is one chain that is distributing the masks. CLICK HERE to see all the locations the FREE masks are available. In central Maine, those locations are: Farmington, Gardiner, and Skowhegan, with more locations planned soon.
Walmart will also be distributing masks at most of its Walmart and Sam’s Club locations across the country however they have not released a current list of the locations that are carrying them as of yet. That is the same for CVS, who is also participating in the FREE mask program.
