Being a human being is hard enough these days, then add being a mom into that mix, and it's nearly impossible not to feel overwhelmed. Daycare, school, sports chauffeur, grocery-getter, and just trying to get dinner on the table is hard to achieve somedays. Now, add a homeschool teacher/virtual teacher to that list, and it can feel like your failing at the one thing you are made to be, and that's a good mom.

I know as the new school year approaches, there is a lot of self-doubts. Doubts, you won't be able to give your child the education they deserve. Add in teaching a child with special needs and the self-doubt multiplies. Will I fail? Or, will I honestly give them everything they need to have a successful year?

I'm here to tell you; you are more than just those things. You are amazing! You are exactly what your child needs! You are stronger then you think! Even on the days, you feel like a failure, in the eyes of your child, you Mom are a SuperHERO!

We, as moms, forget just how adaptable we are. When we became a mom for the first time, we had to learn to adjust to our new babies' sleep patterns. Then our babies went to daycare/school, and we had to learn how to let them go while someone else took care of their well being. As a mom, we've grown to be the bandaid to all of their bo-boos, emotional, and physical. We are much more adaptable then we give our selves credit.

So, with all that said, I'm a mom, a very, very overwhelmed mom, and I know for a fact I'm not alone in that. But just like you, I will learn to adapt to the new yet scary changes coming into our lives this fall. You'll be the mom that has a plan a, plan b, and plan c to be absolutely sure they succeed to the best of your ability. And, Like me, you will be the exact mom your kids need.

Now, I'm not saying it isn't going to be hard; we need to remember that we are all in this together.  We're moms; together we were built for this, its what we do!
