Lewiston Police Rescues Stuck Skunk [VIDEO]

I bet when Lewiston Police Sgt. Wayne Clifford went to work on Thursday morning, he probably didn't expect to have to try and rescue a skunk. The skunk had its head stuck inside a glass container and Sgt. Clifford was capture on dashboard camera video of his rescue of the stuck skunk.

So how did the rescue attempt turn out?

The Lewiston Police Department posted on their Facebook:

'We are happy to report that the skunk was freed and uninjured. Sgt. Clifford, however, had to explain to the arriving day watch officers at shift change why the station stinks. Sgt. Clifford is now home soundly sleeping in his garage.'
