There is just something about the holiday season where it is as important to focus on the giving as it is to hope to receive.

One program comes to mind with the focus to help as many as possible and they do a wonderful job at it is the Maine Children's Home of Waterville.

The Christmas Program at The Maine Children's Home is a one of a kind program that addresses several needs for the more than 1,100 Maine Kids whose family is struggling financially. This amazing program supplies brand new clothes, winter essentials, books, toys, and games to these families in need.

Applications for this years Christmas Program are filled but the need for donated items remains high.

The Maine Children's Home, Christmas Program has several urgent needs they are looking for help with:

Pajamas for both girls and boys, underwear, winter boots, a bunch of different toys, books, and games. And also gifts to be given for older children.

At this time due to the current covid health restrictions, all donated items must be new.

If you are able to donate items can be dropped off between 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, on the porch of Building 3 on the Maine Children's Home campus. Donations are accepted year round but are more needed now leading up to the Christmas holiday.
