Considering our state is a frozen tundra for a significant portion of the year, it should not be a big surprise that, here in Maine, we really live for summer.

And, we are lucky to have so much to do during the warmer months.

In addition to all of the outdoor activities, like hiking and camping, our calendars are freighted with events.  We have carnivals, fairs, festivals celebrating nearly any kind of food or beverage you could imagine (even Moxie), and dozens of concerts.

Speaking of concerts, we have some of New England's best outdoor concert venues, including the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor.

About the Maine Savings Amphitheater

The Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, Maine, is a popular open-air concert venue set along the scenic Penobscot River in the city’s Waterfront Park.  Since opening in 2010, it has become a go-to destination for major touring acts and live entertainment, hosting thousands of fans each summer and early fall as part of the Waterfront Concert Series.  With flexible seating that can accommodate up to around 15,000 to 16,500 people, the venue offers everything from reserved seats to a sprawling general admission lawn, all with a backdrop that mixes live music and Maine’s natural beauty.

Of course, like any major concert venue, the Maine Savings Amphitheater does have specific rules and policies.  We have put together a list of some things you need to know before attending a show at the Maine Savings Amphitheater this spring or summer.

Check out a list of shows coming to the venue this year following this list of rules and policies.
