Make Your Own Hand Sanitizer – So Easy & Inexpensive
I think it's safe to say things are getting a little out of control with the price gouging on hand sanitizer as of late. There is this frenzy that causes people to go insane and do things they normally would not do, like pay $54.75 for two small bottles of hand sanitizer on Amazon. Yes, people have been hoarding it, and you may have a harder time than normal finding some locally...BUT..... the stuff is so easy to make and for such a small cost, you'll wonder why you haven't went this route before.
A recipe that I have used before from thespruce.com is super easy, just two ingredients, three if you want to be fancy.
- 2/3 cup 99 percent rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol
- 1/3 cup aloe vera gel
- 8 to 10 drops essential oil, optional
you'll also want to use a spoon to mix it, a bottle to put it into, and maybe a funnel to get it into the bottle, that's it!
Now you know, spead the word, not the hype!
