Before you get to judging my cooking skills let me get one thing clear. I am very sensitive when it comes to spices, the smallest flake of pepper sets my mouth on fire, so I don’t lather my food in seasoning like most people recommend. So when you look at my plain chicken breast with a dash of salt you should know, that I made it that way on purpose.

Yesterday was my second attempt at learning to cook. My mom gave me the advice of heating my oven to 375 then just letting it bake, so I did. Now my oven must not be very powerful because it took over an hour to cook it fully. I ended up absolutely loving the chicken though. It was tender and tasted great, so it might not be the prettiest hen in the barn, but it tasted delicious.
