Chip and Joanna Gains from the hit show 'Fixer Upper' recently launched their newest project, the Magnolia network, once the DIY channel. Together the Gains wanted to use this new network to feature risk-takers and make the most of life and what it throws their way.

Erin French, from The Lost Kitchen restaurant, is all those things.  Because of that, it just made sense for them to give her a show.

According House Beautiful, the entire first season is now streaming on Discovery+, the new streaming platform.

If you're unfamiliar with The Lost Kitchen, it's a quaint restaurant located in the town of Freedom, Maine. The Lost Kitchen is run by owner Erin French and several other female employees, none of whom had many culinary skills before starting.

What makes this restaurant so unique and different from the next is how you go about getting a reservation. The only way to get a reservation is by sending in a postcard and hoping that you're picked out of the THOUSANDS of entry from all around the world.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, The Lost Kitchen is not accepting reservations at this time. But have those postcards ready because you don't want to miss out on the once in a lifetime opportunity when they do.
