Take Our Poll: Do You Get A Flu Shot?

Tis' the season for the dreaded three letter word...the F-L-U!!  The horror.  It's already popping up in Maine...earlier than usual.  People are posting, like crazy, all over Facebook.  I wonder, can you cyber catch the flu?  You watch...it'll be a thing one day.

With all the flu talk...and by flu, I mean INFLUENZA, it makes me wonder: How many people actually get the flu vaccine?

Me?  Nope.  And I've had influenza.  It's H-E-DOUBLE-HOCKEY-STICKS!!  It literally hits you instantly, like a ton of bricks, and lasts for weeks.  And that was a year I got the flu shot.  I'm not a doctor, I'm not going to get into the medical mumbo jumbo.  For me, I will not get one.

But others swear by it.  Some are mandated by work to get one.

I will clarify for some, who get the two confused...the flu vaccine  is supposed to protect you from influenza...NOT the stomach virus.  2 different things.  As well as the common cold.
