When Does Story Land In New Hampshire Open For The Season?
Now that we are officially in spring, it is time to start thinking about summer activities. Camping trips, trips to the beach, and trips to New England's best amusement parks.
If you have kids, you know that no summer would be complete without a trip to the Mount Washington Valley's Story Land amusement park. It is where fantasy lives, after all.
So, when does this popular amusement park open for the season?
According to the Story Land website, the iconic New England theme park opens for the season on Saturday, May 28th. That's the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
As has been the case in past years, the park will be open weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for the first few weeks. On Friday, June 17th, they will make the switch to being open daily.
Ticket prices are about $55 per person, but you can save some cash if you purchase your tickets in advance for a specific day.
They are also planning on doing a series of Nostalgia Nights. This is a chance for adults to enjoy the park. There'll be live music, food, beer, and rides. Tickets for these go on sale on March 23rd for season passholders and on March 30th for everyone else. Get all the details HERE.
One of the cool things about the park is that, since it first opened in the 1950s, they have been constantly expanding and upgrading. Some of the cool attractions now include the classic Bamboo Chutes, a dinosaur safari ride, a pirate ship, the Polar Coaster, Splash Battle, and the Roar-O-Saurus.
