April Berends Recently Had A Liver Transplant After Only Being Sick For A Few Weeks [VIDEO]

Last year at this time, April Berends was a healthy 29 year-old.  But that all changed at the end of 2014 when she suddenly became ill and declined rapidly.  It was then, doctors informed her family that she would need a liver transplant or she would die. 

April was put into a drug induced coma where she stayed until she received a donor liver only hours before it possibly was too late.  A lot of medical care comes when you have an organ transplant, which means a lot of bills.  There is a special event coming up tomorrow, May 16th at the Knight's of Columbus in Gardiner.  It starts at 5:30pm
