Maine Maple Producers Weekend

The Maine Maple Producers Association is bringing us a fresh new way to celebrate Maine's Maple Syrup industry. Maine Maple Producers Weekend is a new way for Maple producers to show off their products while the Maple lovers get to enjoy all the fun Maple items and events.

During a typical year, you know, one where we're not in a pandemic, March typically brings Maine Maple Sunday. If you're unfamiliar, Maine Maple Sunday is a super sweet event, where Maine Maple Producers throughout the state open their farms and sugar shacks for patrons to tour.

Because Maine Maple Sunday was canceled this Spring, the Maine Maple Producers Association invented this fall event to help Maple Producers. Good news though, this fall event isn't going to only happen in the Fall of 2020; there will now be two Maine Maple events. One in the Spring and one in the Fall.

Maine Maple Producers Weekend kicks off October 9th with a Recipe Contest. There are three recipe categories that you can enter, beverage, entree, and dessert. Maple tours and taste testing will happen on October 10th, 11th, and 18th.
