
Maine State Police Investigating Death in Topsham
According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety's Shannon Moss, the Maine State Police are assisting local police in a death investigation in the Town of Topsham.
The press release explains that at about 9:30 AM on Tuesday (November 21), the Maine State Police were dispatched to aid in a death investigation at River Landing, an apartment complex on Elm Street in Topsham.
Members of the Topsham Police Department were already on the scene.
The press release says, in part:
The deceased will be transported to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for an autopsy to determine manner and cause of death.
At this time, police do not believe there is any risk to the public.
