According to a press release from the Mid- Maine Chamber of Commerce, the 2020 Taste of Waterville event has been canceled.

If you're unfamiliar with what the Taste of Waterville event is, several local restaurants come together and offer up food and beverage samples that they serve in their restaurants. It's a fantastic way to get a little sneak peek and taste test some of Central Maine's best restaurants.

Here is what Kimberly Lindlof, President and CEO of the Mid-Maine Chamber, had to say.

"It is with profound sadness that we announce the cancellation of this long-held tradition. However, as with other area events and exhibitions forced to adjust schedules, the health and safety of our attendees is of utmost concern. We will take this time to make next year’s event bigger and better – so watch for information regarding Taste of Waterville 2021 at Head of Falls."

So, even though the events been canceled for this year, I highly recommend squeezing it into your Summer of 2021 plans.
