I have nothing against modern (1990 and newer) houses, but there is something really special about older homes.  They all have a history and a story to tell.

Sometimes, they really surprise you, too. Often the most mundane looking homes (on the outside) and beautiful on the inside.

This is definitely the case with the century old brick home on Main Street in Lisbon.

According to Realtor, the 3,600 square foot home at 85 Main Street in Lisbon was built in 1920.  The house features a living room with fireplace, a sunroom with amazing views of the neighborhood, a formal dining room, a breakfast nook, and a small (but adequate) kitchen.  Actually, the most striking part of the kitchen is the fact that it still has a corded phone.

Recently, the attic was finished.  This large room would now make a great bedroom for an old child, a playroom for the younger kids, or you could install a bar and make it a place for the adults to hang out.

The basement is mostly finsihed.  It has a workout room and a small kitchen.

The property also has a two car garage that, just like the house, is made of brick.
