Maine Gas Prices Are At Their Lowest In Two Years

Gas prices in Maine continue to drop, in fact, they are now at their lowest level in two years. According to the price-monitoring website MaineGasPrices.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in Maine, is down three cents this week to $3.38.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were reported at several area gas stations in the Norway, South Paris area, with several gas stations selling a gallon of petrol at $3.18.

Maine's gas prices are still 18 cents a gallon higher than the national average.

The lowest average gas prices were found in Missouri, with a gallon of gas averaging $2.82. In fact, there are nine states with an average gallon of gas under $3.

The lowest price for a gallon of gas that I could find, was in Laredo, Texas, with a gallon of gas coming in at $2.42!
