
Arrest Made in Central Maine Homicide
According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety's Shannon Moss, an arrest has been made in the killing of a man that took place in Palmyra in March.
Maine State Police say 38-year-old Kareem Quattlebaum of New York has been arrested for the murder of 28-year-old Jaquan Humphries of Mattapan, Massachusetts.
The FBI New York Office took Quattlebaum into custody around 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Bronx. Humphries was shot and killed back on March 12 at a home on Madawaska Road in Palmyra.
Quattlebaum is being held at Rikers Island and will face an extradition hearing.

The case has been a joint effort between Maine State Police, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force in Maine, and the FBI New York Office. The investigation is still active, and police say no other details are available right now.
