Maine Gas Prices Continue To Fall

Good news for those filling up, gas prices continue to drop in Maine. According to the price-monitoring website, MaineGasPrices.com, the average retail gas of a gallon of gas in Maine has dropped 5 cents a gallon this week to $3.50.Maine's gas prices are 12 cents higher than the national average. Gas prices in Maine have dropped 23 cents per gallon in the past month.

Gas prices vary greatly throughout Maine. Lowest prices were found in Biddeford at $3.28, $3.29 in Mechanic Falls.

When I was in Lewiston-Auburn on Sunday, I saw gas for $3.41. The lowest I have found in Augusta is $3.51.

Missouri has past South Carolina for the lowest average gas price at $3.04

The lowest gas price I found was $2.70 a gallon at a gas station in Cypress, Texas.
